This was a cold, wet day heading off with my camera from kenilworth toward Leek wootten. I remember feeling a bit uninspired as to what I might photograph in the grey dreariness.

Along the track to my left I noticed the hedgerow. Pertruding, randomly above was the new growth, sparse and delicate, shining almost gold against the cloudy grey sky. I couldn't help but smile at the realisation that there is beauty all around us and this rather humble little sight inspired this photograph. 'We all Count", seemed the most fitting title.
